Not that cake is tradition on Easter, but pastel colors are so we decided to make a fun cake to eat after we finished dyeing our Easter eggs!
So much better than plain old white, yellow, or chocolate! And with 4 girls it always helps if something is pretty! :)
Hannah and I dyed all of the eggs during naptime and then we all decorated them together that evening after John got home from work.
The girls had a lot of fun... although we did loose quite a few eggs along the way, lol! I guess that's what you get when you have a couple of 2yr olds experimenting with hard boiled eggs!
Hannah has such a creative mind! She dyed this egg half and half and then used the same colors in glitter, but placed it on the opposite side! So much fun! She's such a bright little girl!
Then we had a birthday party for Taylor. For no reason other than Hannah wanted to pretend we were! :) The girls went around the house and all picked out presents for her. She was very interested in all the attention for sure!
Another fun day in the Daurer household! Full of fun, messes, and imagination!
Wouldnt have it any other way!
