Here a duck... There a duck...

Everywhere a duck, duck!

I think we are personally responsible for some of the fat ducks at the fish hatchery during Hannah's latest and greatest adventure!

Where a kid can be a kid!

Better known to those born before 1995 as Showbiz Pizza! To fight the winter blues we went along with some friends (and great coupons) to have a fun filled, pizza eating, picture taking, prize winning morning!
(And since we went on a Thursday morning there were only about 10 other people in the entire place!)

Hannah and Chuck E became great friends real quick!

Here the girls decided they could win more tickets if they all wacked sharks at the same time!

Here is Hannah in the spaceship that she rode at least 6 times. Maybe she's an astronaut in the making... "So Hannah, where did you complete your training before joining NASA?" "Chuck E Cheese's!"

And I sure hope this isn't a glimpse into the future! Hannah and Eva in a monster truck taking out anything in their way!

Warning: This video is quite boring... It is short, but mainly for those who want to see Hannah in her spaceship!

A glimpse into past Valentines

Sadie was our first Valentine... She was able to come home right around this time in 2005.

Then we had Hannah to help celebrate in 2006... what chunker!

In 2007, Hannah was able to make her first Valentine cards to send to our family out of state!

And this year we busted out the paint and got a little messy while creating cards!

This is just a result of a Valentine's photo shoot gone bad... At 2 there is no tricking them into smiling for photos anymore and forcing them doesn't work out too well either! So here Hannah is pretending to sleep as she holds roses... instead of the sweet smiling picture holding roses I had pictured in my head! =)

Either way though... Happy Valentine's Day to all those we love!

Beautiful Idaho and the Beautiful Snow!

I'm sure I've said before... This is an abnormal winter for this part of Idaho. We are getting more snow than they have in the last 8yrs or something like that. It's funny how many unsatisfied Idahoins I have heard, throughout the valley, due to this fact. Most don't want to deal with the driving... the shoveling... the wetness... Our solution to change these attitudes... Embrace the snow!

We took advantage of this absolutely glorious, warmer, beautiful day and headed to the foothills to put some more miles on our snowshoes. We left the car at 10:40am and returned just after 1pm... it was great! (This including multiple, multiple stops to pick up lost Sadie boots, re-tie hats, fix snowshoes, pictures, breaks after hill climbs etc... But trust me, it was a workout!)

This is the peak of our trip... We ate some apples, took pictures, and just enjoyed our surroundings for a while. We were hoping to see some elk and other exciting wildlife. No elk, but we did come across 2 heards of deer, an elderly couple on skis, and dead animal parts scattered about. We also saw spiders hiking across the snow! Weird!?

Making fresh tracks!

And finally... no activity in the snow is complete without making a snowangel! So for those of you living near or far, anxiously awaiting the snow to melt... There's not too much of this season left, so embrace it while you can! =)

Hide and Go Seek

John and Hannah have a new love for the old favorite Hide-and-Go-Seek! Here is a video from when John was first teaching Hannah how to play. Now the game has expanded throughout the household, in rooms filled with fun and laughter! Hannah does give herself away when she hides in the bathroom though... with the continuous flushing of the toilet!
