Like Mother Like Daughter

Well I did it... I finally got a tattoo! You would not believe the deal I got, and they even offered to do Hannah's for free! It's the latest craze in identifying your child in the event that they are abducted. So we went for it. Lots of tears and screaming but that's ok, now I know Hannah is Hannah.
Just Kidding they're fake!

We couldn't resist...

As many of you know all to well, evidenced by Hannah streaking through your home, Hannah is at a funky spot in potty training right now. Too little to get it, but big enough to know she doesn't like a wet diaper. So her solution to a wet diaper is to immediately remove her diaper and go running!
I'm not worried about her being potty trained... for goodness sake she's not even two, but one can hope! I'd be ok to leave diapers behind if she's ready. So we try over and over, but she has very little tolerance to sit on the toilet longer than 10seconds! So we try something new as pictured above which did keep her there longer without any new results though.
It will happen when it happen's, but does she really have to tease us???

I love making cupcakes!

Yep... tonight's fun activity with Dad was making cupcakes! I love to make cupcakes! I am the best taste tester in the world!

At first I was trying to keep as clean as possible...

I gave up on that really quick cause Dad was licking all the chocolate that fell onto my highchair tray... so I had to make sure it stopped falling!

You wouldn't even believe what happened next! Mom brought the bowl over and let me dip the beater in it for a second round! I never get a second round!

So I decided to take it nice and slow... savoring every little lick. And when I was done... Dad took me to the bathtub where the water turned to chocolate after I got in! Man I must be sweet to be able to do that!
I Love making cupcakes!

The Idaho Fair

We went to the Idaho fair today and had a blast! We missed the judging, but I think if we made it in time these sheep would have tied for first! Cause they are the best looking sheep I have ever seen!

No Fair is complete without a funnel cake! This was Hannah's first experience with a funnel cake... She actually looks way more impressed than she was. I don't think she took another bite after this picture.. Deep fried food of every type possible was available at your fingertips!

Hannah even braved the clown for the chance to own her very own flower balloon! What a big girl! I don't think most adults would get that close to a clown!

More animals to pet and feed... Hannah just loves animals, although she wasn't too impressed with the goat who decided to chew on her sleeve!

This is our friend Lacey... yes she was able to grab this cow's tongue! Even better... John was able to catch a picture of it!

But the highlight of the fair was the bean pool! Yes I said bean pool! There was a bean pool, a corn pool, and a wheat pool but Hannah loved the beans the best! Although I did hear a passerby say something about all of the adults having more fun than Hannah! (I think it was true!)

Illinois Fun

We are home!

And we are tuckered out! So you'll have to wait a little bit for the plethera of pictures... but we promise they will be worth the wait!
Until then here is one of Hannah with her cousin Jack's fish. It was so big that it pulled the pole into the lake when he walked away from it... The next day my mom's neighbor went and fished out the pole with the fish still attached! Crazy fish!

Melting in Illinois...

Well we are still in Illinois and spent today at the zoo. Mom won't be able to post our pictures until we get home though. For now... above is one of the elephants at the zoo and boy did I love the elephants! We've been visiting with lots of family so far, and I still haven't seen everyone! Just wanted you to know that I'm having lots of fun! My body still hasn't gotten used to this humidity stuff! Yuck! I definitely have desert blood! Well, I'll keep ya posted but for now I'm off to see some more family... Man I have a lot of family here!

Recovering in Style..

Well we've stopped Hannah's antibiotic completely and are starting from square one hoping she will do better on her own, rather than on meds. Sadie truly is the best dog and she has been really concerned about Hannah over the last week. If only she could talk we could have the worlds greatest babysitter!
Us girls are also headed to Illinois in the morning. Praying this sickness will be completely gone by 6am when we leave for the airport! Hello flatlanders!!! Here we come!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Well today we celebrate Mom's birthday! We decorated the backyard and had ice cream cake just for the occasion! It was just the 3 of us celebrating cause I'm still kind of sick. I took a couple of bites of ice cream and then turned the rest down... Mom said I definitely must still be feeling a little under the weather to turn down sugar! And for an update on my sickness... my fever isn't spiking so high but it is still there, I'm still on my antibiotic but it's burning my skin which means I'm getting a lot of time in what Dad calls my birthday suit! I guess because it's mom's birthday I get to wear it, but I'm a little confused cause I don't have anything on at all! Other than that I think I'm doing pretty good and I even played outside for a while today! Mom and Dad said birthdays sure aren't how they used to be, but simple is sometimes better.

Sick again...

Well what started as the common cold turned into who knows what with a super high fever and just plain yuckiness. Hannah started antibiotics today and it's a constant battle with her fever, you can only give so many drugs... So please pray for Hannah for immediate healing. We fly to Illinois on Monday and I just can't see taking her on a plane like this. Well off to bed now, I think we have a long night ahead of us.
