It didn't take long...

For Hannah to figure out how to unwrap presents! Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

Hannah loves to listen and dance to the new music she got.

She also got some pretty new butterfly and pink earrings from her Aunt Lis.

Hannah is all ready to spend the night at Grandma's house!

Hannah cheesin' it for the camera! Newsflash*** Hannah finally has her third tooth coming in! The top front right one!

Hannah thought she'd help Noah out...the one thing missing on the ark...baby dolls!

Maybe the box isn't so fun..

So we will post more Christmas pictures later, but this couldn't wait! Hannah got to open up presents from all of her family in Illinois tonight. She was very excited about Noah's Ark and all of the animals!

Of course all of the animals were twisty tied beyond belief and it took a while to get them loose. Above...the box is still fun!

Hannah got tired of waiting so she decided to explore the box some more. The best we can figure out is that because there was a clear side to it she thought she could climb through. Notice the above squeezing technique she utilized to enter the box. (Arms outstretched in front of her... hair smearing by as she wiggles her way in..) As you can imagine with all of the effort it to her to get in, we knew getting out would be just as difficult! And below is the rest of the story. No captions needed cause a picture is worth a thousand words!

There's Christmas in the air

This is just a darn cute picture! Funny you'd think with all the pictures we took, we'd have a final picture of the decorated tree! Maybe another blog entry! This weekend we spent some time in the Christmas atmosphere here at the Daurer home. Trimmin the tree, listening to Christmas music on itunes, building a gingerbread house, attempting to send off Christmas cards, burning a duralog in the chimenea right outside the sliding door so it felt like we had a fireplace, finishing our Christmas shopping online...you know the usual!

Hannah is very good at smelling things now. Here she is sniffin the tree.

After a little instruction and help with a couple of candy canes Hannah was a pro at hanging them herself! Only problem...everytime she hung one on she took it off again!

There's always a grinch in the group right?

Poor poor Sadie.... Yet another humiliating photo and it's only the beginning of the Christmas season!

Gingerbread House

The finished product! Below are pictures of the fun we had making it!

Oh Christmas Tree...Oh Christmas Tree...

Here it is the "Delux Charlie Brown" tree of 2006!

Here's the whole gang post tree cutting.

Here are the guys standing with our tree's. Pay no attention to the fact that you can see through them all....we'll buy more ornaments!

All the Daurer girls!

Hannah being pulled in on her new birthday sled! She loved it and as you can see she wanted to drag her arm in the snow the entire way!

All the babies who put up with their parents crazy ideas! Hannah Joy, Hannah Grace, and Sam. As you can see Hannah Joy is sitting mostly unsupported , Hannah Grace completely unsupported, and Sam was half buried in the snow! But he looks good!

Cheesehead?

So today Hannah received some presents from her Uncle Jeff, Aunt Ang, and cousin Jack who have all become part time "Cheeseheads"! What is a cheesehead you ask? Well I've found the perfect example pictured below! We generally refer to a cheesehead as someone who lives in Wisconsin and/or is a Green Bay Packer fan. It's a huge thing! If you'd like to look into the obsession check out http://www.cheesehead.com/ Anyways....

After hearing about this Hannah too wanted to know what it was like to be a cheesehead.... Only she sort of missed her head!?!?!

Party Time!

Here's the Birthday girl and the final product of cake eating!

We set the babies loose in the pool with the cake. It's becoming quite a tradition around here. Hannah knew God made belly buttons for a reason...to put cake in them!

Here's a group photo of all the babies undercover!

Thanks everyone for helping Hannah celebrate the Big 1!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here I am only 3 days old last Thanksgiving with my Uncle Joe. I don't really remember anything but my Mom says we had a good time. I'm just not sure how they did all the cooking without my help!

Here's Dad getting ready to carve the turkey. (Don't worry he switched to a carving knife after the picture!)

Before the turkey though we had a lot of stuff to do. Here's me helping mom put the buns on the pan.

I helped make the sweet potatoes too!

This is what I call "Green apple bean caserole" move over Rachael Ray here comes Hannah D!

Then it all cooked for a while and here it is folks! Thanksgiving dinner!

Then it was time for desert. Dad had pecan pie, Mom had pumpkin pie, Grandma had a weight watchers special recipe (She's lost 15lbs so far!), and I had whip cream!

I Love Thanksgiving!

New talents

Well I've decided since I'm a year now I need to start learning some new skills. My mom taught me to blow my nose. I'm not sure why I do it but I think it's lots of fun and everyone cheers for me when I do it...so why not? I can give high fives too check it out next time you see me!

The other thing I thought I should take responsibility for is calling my own friends. I try to tell my mom when I want to go visit them but there's so many times I just don't feel understood! So don't be surprised if you get a call from my mom's phone and hear "Ruff Ruff Ruff" on the other line because I love dogs and I can bark like them now! It's my favorite saying!
