The Orange Pig
This is Hannah's pig. Grandma Warcholek bought him for $1 at a garage sale. When you turn him on his nose shakes, his tail wags, and he snorts while walking around. Hannah LOVES him! She will giggle and chase him until she finally takes him down and tries to eat him! If you ask Hannah... everyone should have an orange pig!

Happy Birthday Bryan!
When crawling is not enough
I continue to be amazed at the rate Hannah is growing and learning. It was only a week ago that Hannah started crawling effectively. The goal now is to explore the house and crawl to anything that she can pull herself up on. It is priceless to see the look on her face when she makes a new discovery!

The Family
The Oregon Coast
To the left is Hannah's first experience with sand. She would sift handful after handful of sand just trying to figure out what it was. It didn't take long for our crazy dog to come running full force and sweep a wave of sand over Hannah's head! Her peaceful sifting turned into a face and mouthful of sand with no warning! We did have an endless supply of water close by but the ocean is full of salt which was no help!
This photo is after the traumatic drive by sanding...as you can see she is still captivated by the crashing waves and was back to exploring in no time!
Here was the view from our room. A beautiful ending to Hannah's first day at the Oregon coast!

Hannah is evicted and moves to the nursery
Here Hannah is helping daddy set up her crib in her very own room! Up until now the crib has been in our room. Recently Hannah has decided to wake up anywhere from 6-8 times every night to try and be with Mom. When I'm working the night shift she only wakes up 1-2 for Dad. We are hoping the separation will help her sleep better. Everyone pray please!
As you can tell by the look on her face Hannah is completely thrilled to be in her very own room! (Yea right!) Let's see how it goes!

8months and officially crawling!
Well she's done it folks! Hannah has mastered the art of crawling and can do it gracefully (most of the time)! Her toys are very little fun these days since there is so much more to explore. She loves to tear up daddy's magazines and is very curious about how Sadie tastes! Hannah can also pull herself to a standing position on anything solid (this is always exciting to come around the corner and see over the hard wood and tile floors)!

Baby summits Mt. Bachelor
Here we are in the parking lot at Sunrise Lodge on Mt. Bachelor. Much different from the winter when it is covered with 200 inches of snow!
Hannah enjoyed the ride up to the top. We had to take 2 lifts and hike about 15 minutes to get to the summit.
Here we are at the summit of Mt. Bachelor. What a view! (And only 22 miles from home!) In the winter when we are snowboarding there is not access to the place where we are standing above. The snow is too deep and the wind too strong on this side of the mountain.

Fourth of July
We had a lot of fun on the fourth with friends and family. We spent the morning paddling around. As you can see Hannah loved her first time in a kayak!
Hannah wasn't too impressed by the sparklers and she slept through the big fireworks after dark. Maybe next year she'll enjoy all the pretty colors.
During the afternoon we went to a BBQ. We attempted a photo shoot with all the babies as you can see below...
"I said, keep your dirty hands off my white dress!"
We figured between the 4 cameras taking pictures someone had to get a good one...as you can tell it wasn't us!
