Our solarized children.... courtesy of Hannah

One of Hannah's favorite thing to do is change the settings on my phone so that it alters the way everyone looks in the pictures she takes!  What a goofball!

Just another day...

Nothing like a bag for a fun afternoon.  Not really sure who's under there.  Can't tell the difference in legs or toes yet! :)
Brooke looks SO big in this picture!  I can't believe how close to 2yrs old the twins are!

Aspen too!  What big little people they are!
Tons of open seats elsewhere in the house, but all 4 girls prefer to be close in one spot!
This is Hannah singing her heart out  :)
So young, but already wants to be like Mom.  Brooke loves to run around with my badge and stethoscope.  It's never a problem until the morning I have to go to work and realize I have 2 minutes to frantically search for them!
The twins love to feed themselves now...
this makes our lives both easier and more difficult at the same time.  Good thing we have a dog.
Just another day!

Spidergirl

It's official...  Hannah has graduated out of the full body harness at the climbing gym!
Not a single hesitation climbing to the top of the wall!

With her long legs and arms she is sure to climb far!

The closing of the gym is the only thing to get Hannah off of the wall.  This girl can climb!

The aftermath of a bedtime party

The twins have always done a good job of going down for the night, but sometimes it is only after a 45minute party.  These parties usually consist of talking, laughing, jumping on the bed, and exchanging of various security items.   Although sometimes these parties are a bit frustrating, since as a parent it's hard to truly rest while your kids are still awake, I can't help but think of the fun they'll have as they grow older too.  I don't look at these nights as procrastination of bedtime but as building of their relationship as sisters.  One day I know it will be all 3 girls that we are "shooshing" and telling them to "turn the lights out now!" But for now I'll enjoy the memories of them falling asleep with unzipped jammies and bunnies on their head!

Bathtime Fun

This summer is going to be F-U-N as it's easy to see that all 3 of our girls love playing in the water!  Can't wait until it's time to beat the heat in the sprinkler and swimming pool!

And this is when Aspen declared she had enough of sharing the tub!  Next time all 3 girls take a dive we'll definitely have to put them in our tub instead!

Homemade Bagels

So recently a friend Trey (Newly Wed husband at that!)  Made homemade bagels for his beautiful wife Lorelei!  (You can find her blog here: Lorelei's Blog)  They looked incredibly wonderful and delicious so I asked nicely for the recipe and they sent it right over!
In my mind bagels seem difficult to make.  I realize they are bread, but it just seemed complicated.
It is completely uncomplicated and a fairly quick process!
 Fun too!
You can make any combination you'd like!

And it's as simple as that!  Ready for the oven and 20 minutes later they are ready for your tummy!  (Sorry I don't have a single "after" picture!  I was so excited and they smelled incredible, so I forgot about the pic!)  we have plain, poppy seed, sesame seed, blueberry, cranberry, cinnamon raisin, and onion cheese bagels (Some are not pictured above)!  I really had a difficult time parting with any and not eating them all!  So if you'd like to try it yourself or with your family on a Saturday morning when breakfast doesn't have to be rushed....  Here's the link!
Enjoy!

Getting caught being naughty!

Sometimes people ask if I have grown eyes on all sides of my head....  well not yet, but if you know of a surgeon willing to do this, count me in!  (Note:  As I'm trying to get Aspen to smile you can see Brooke climbing in the background with pen in hand.  At the time I had no clue since I was focused on Aspen!)
Brooke is our little artist.  It doesn't matter what form she finds... pen, pencil, crayon, PERMANENT marker, chalk, food, snots, etc...  If she can draw with it, she finds it and uses it!  (Fortunately she hasn't attempted to draw with poop.  Lets hope it stays that way!)  We find little masterpieces at Brooke's height all over the house.  The above was almost her latest and greatest, but fortunately she hasn't figured out how to use a click pen!
So knowing the ottoman is safe I catch this adorable pick of Aspen and then...
Have a talk with Brooke since she knows she shouldn't be coloring on things.  The above is her guilty "I got caught" expression.  Notice Aspen feeling sorry for Brooke so she joins in on the "Woe is me" party.  (They always sit in time out together even though only one has been placed there.  Must be a twin thing!)
 Back to Aspen being cute...
Then back to Brooke who is not so sure if she is out of the woods yet!
This is Aspen pretending to sit nicely in the big girl chair.  Doing nothing except for sitting...  (ya right!)
And this is Aspen after she was caught not sitting nicely in the big girl chair and instead climbing up on the table!
And just when you think it's safe and you pick up the camera again....
You catch the dog up on the counter!  (In Sadie's defense Hannah did place her ball up there and she was going after the ball, but still!  She definitely knows she's not allowed up there!  Now we know how things go missing when we're not home!)
