Sadie was our first Valentine... She was able to come home right around this time in 2005.
Then we had Hannah to help celebrate in 2006... what chunker!
In 2007, Hannah was able to make her first Valentine cards to send to our family out of state!
And this year we busted out the paint and got a little messy while creating cards!
This is just a result of a Valentine's photo shoot gone bad... At 2 there is no tricking them into smiling for photos anymore and forcing them doesn't work out too well either! So here Hannah is pretending to sleep as she holds roses... instead of the sweet smiling picture holding roses I had pictured in my head! =) Either way though... Happy Valentine's Day to all those we love!

I think the photographer just needed to be looking up from the floor...then it would have been the perfect picture! And besides, you couldn't have gotten a better picture for the magazine cover. You can only expect so much! :)
