A beautiful place (not far from home) + a gorgeous drive through orchards and vineyards + 3 actve girls who love the outdoors + the realization that we were missing 1 of the twins shoes at the END of the entire hike + 20 attempts at a self family portrait + the crossing of a creek with a 4yr old while carrying the twins on our backs + a vertical climb to the trailhead just to realize there was a road to that same exact place + a gorgeous waterfall and great memories = A wonderful afternoon full of adventures and some very tired parents (the girls were ready to keep going)!
I'm sad we waited so long to visit a place so close, but happy we went and will go again! Go outside and explore! You never know what you'll find!
